Custom Fields

Fields of the following types can be added:

  • Single-line Text

  • Long Text

  • Single Choice

  • Date

  • Number

  • Payment

There are two ways to add custom fields:

  1. Creating a field for a single document.

Each document owner can add additional fields to individual documents. To do so, click on “Add Field.” The configuration and creation of the field is the same as when creating global fields: custom field management

The creation of “Custom Fields” within individual document files can follow the same process as the creation of fields by admins. You can find the documentation here: custom field management.

Please note that the “Custom Fields” added to individual document records (and not to all document records via admin are not displayed as columns in the document table (my documents).

If you want to add a new custom field to all company documents, please contact your company's admin.
